I did a lot of research to learn about paper qualities and chose a 100lb text paper to fill each book with. This weight of paper is perfect for pens, makers, and of course any dry mediums such as pencils. I wouldn't recommend alcohol markers, but I am planning on making some mixed media books soon that will hold more wet mediums. The cover illustration is printed on a heavy linen textured 120lb cover paper that will hold up to the love it will receive during use. Each review page has plenty of room for you to make all your notes, scrapbook any book cover pictures, or whatever makes your heart happy when you book journal.
